Positioned within their agile digital transformation framework, this role balances day-to-day platform optimization with targeted backend workflow development. The primary accountability centers on building and fine-tuning ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) components, specifically driving Event Management rules. You will write platform code to process, parse, and correlate heavy event logs streamed from external infrastructure monitoring tools, dramatically reducing metric noise, accelerating incident prioritization thresholds, and expanding proactive network visibility.

Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional, hands-on engineering experience within the ServiceNow enterprise platform ecosystem.
- Direct developmental exposure configuring and managing IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules, with an emphasis on Event Management workflows.
- Solid technical understanding of event correlation models, alert generation lifecycle mechanics, mapping thresholds, and optimizing event rules to execute alert noise reductions.
- Foundational knowledge implementing basic ServiceNow Discovery patterns, configuring orchestration behaviors, and building foundational event rules to map infrastructure assets.
- Practical engineering familiarity configuring inbound and outbound integrations using REST and SOAP web services to bridge external infrastructure monitoring utilities with the ServiceNow engine.
- Competency writing functional client-side and server-side JavaScript utilizing the platform's core Glide APIs (e.g., GlideRecord, GlideSystem) for advanced configurations and workflow mapping.
- Proven capacity to manage high-velocity event queues, conduct root-cause troubleshooting on broken telemetry integrations, and execute post-incident documentation updates.
- Holding an active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential is highly preferred, alongside specialized validation badges in ITOM or Event Management modules.
- Sharp analytical troubleshooting capabilities, structured operational habits to align with client SLAs, and excellent verbal communication skills to coordinate across multi-regional support units.
